Daily Special Breakfast

A wonderful start to the Day!

8 oz oats
about 1 oz each of: sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, redskin peanuts, sesame seeds, bran, wheat/oat germ, linseeds.  
(I sometimes add cashew nuts - because they're yummy)
 In saucepan heat: 
1 big spoonful each of oil (safflower or similar) and honey

  • Add these into the oats mixture and stir well.  
  • Put into a roasting tin or similar and put in oven at about 160C.  
  • Cook for about 40 mins, stirring every 10 mins, until golden.  
  • Cool and put into container.
  • This keeps for about 10 days.
Two scoopfuls per day makes a breakfast and it's delicious with soya milk, with some fruit on top - real or dried.
