A fun diagram copied from an M&S leaflet giving information about British beers

With its mild climate, regular rainfall and fantastic variety of soils, Britain really is a brilliant place for growing hops.  Very few British hops are irrigated, making them environmentally sustainable.  At M&S you'll find beers  that are brewed in Britain with hops from around the world, as well as varieties that contain British hops only.  And here's a diagram giving information about the perfect pint:

BBC Gardeners’ World Live Update
The RHS and River Street Events, organisers of BBC Gardeners’ World Live have made the mutual decision not to continue their longstanding relationship jointly presenting elements of BBC Gardeners’ World Live.

As part of our £100 million investment plans and commitment to increase our presence across the Midlands and North of England, the RHS’ key focus is to create new RHS Gardens and horticultural highlights in these parts of the country. As such, in agreement with River Street Events, we have made the difficult decision not to continue as the horticultural contractor for BBC Gardeners’ World Live after 2015.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with River Street Events on BBC Gardeners’ World Live. BBC Gardeners’ World Live is a great Show and we’re pleased to have been able to be associated with it for so long. Whilst we’re sad about no longer being involved, we are delighted that River Street Events will pick up managing the horticultural content for the Show and we wish them every success for the future. RHS Members will continue to benefit from a discount to the show.

The RHS currently has over 150 stunning Partner Gardens throughout the UK which members can visit and these include 30 gardens across the East and West Midlands and a further 30 in the North of the country. Our aspiration is to continue to add new Partner Gardens throughout the UK.
